Nowhere to turn? The CMIA can help.

Benevolent fund assistance is available to CMIA members of the Intelligence Branch. Benevolent fund assistance may be extended to non-members at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

The benevolent fund provides emergency assistance to members and their immediate family in a crisis situation that requires immediate and/or extraordinary response. Examples include, but are not limited to, food, clothing, emergency travel, essential home repairs and emergency shelter, and prescription medicine or medical equipment. Comforts for members who are hospitalized may be provided and are defined as reading material, personal toiletry articles, and other items of a similar nature.

Family is defined as spouse/partner and minor/dependent children/step children.
